our peppy pie is all over the place these days! the other day she went up all of our steps (with me behind her, of course!) one morning she was crying in her crib and i went in there to see what was up and she was standing up (not realizing how to get down) luckily, this (her crying while standing) has not happened again. but she stands all the time now and it's quite adorable!
she was going after the kitty's food the other day and we both said, "no!" well, she continued and este went and got her and was telling her...and then she kissed him...and again and again. lol, it shocked him and SHUT HIM UP! her point exactly. we're gonna have to watch this one! heehee.
today i had both girls outside playing in their house and on the grass. this was pep's first time really playing like that outside. at first she didnt want her feet or hands touching the grass, but in 5 mins. she came around and loved it! we also took her to the playground to play for the first time this week. she had so much fun. she loved the slide and then i got on the tire swing and put her on my lap and she giggled most the time while daddy pushed us! :)
olivia and belle went on their first bike ride with billy tonight. isabelle was leaning on olivia, with a smile on her face and the wind in her hair. olivia was singing to her. precious!

potpourri (lil bit of everything)

on vday, heidi and billy went out for the afternoon while we watched the kids and then when they came home, este and i went out for the evening. they decided to take the girls for a walk in the new double walker/bike thingy that they got. the girls loved it...until este and i came out to see and then pep kinda freaked out...and then olivia. after a minute, they were fine for the rest of the time...hahaha!

day 5

we went home on this day! we had breakfast at the hotel and got our things packed and headed out! this day could not have gone any smoother. once again, we got the whole row to ourselves on the plane. isabelle slept on me for over an hour and i didnt have to pull out one toy the whole time (2 1/2 hour trip) it was just so relaxing! when we got home, we set her on the floor and she was sooooo happy! she was just laughing and yelling! she loved being with olivia again and when she saw theo, she just lost it. she couldnt get enough of him!
what a great trip! cant wait to return!

day 4 (i posted day 2, you can scroll down to find it!)

this was one of my favs! the hotel had an awesome exercise room that i would get to go up to a few times while we were there. isabelle would go down for a nap...este would nap too, and i would get to burn some calories. it was wonderful! i think este got to nap with peppy everyday...and that right there is great!
on this day we took the metro to the space needle. the brunch was so amazing! i had such a wonderful time, i had tears in my eyes telling este how awesome it was!
the floor at the needle turned so we got to see every angle during our brunch!
hahahahaha! she actually did have a great time, too! youd never guess!

we took her to the pool. at first she was a bit cold. but daddy played around with her and she loved it!

so we ended our last night with dindin at an irish pub...where este had an amazing "pasty" and i had the best salmon i have ever had! seriously! it was glorious! isabelle loved it all!

day 3

this was our anniversary day and it was the down day of them all. we took an adventurous bus ride to another part of the city to this mall that looked really cool online. it ended up not being worth it...cause these buses were just dirty and peppy was not in a good mood and was wanting to put everything in her mouth. 7:00pm couldnt get here fast enough! (that's when we put her to bed:) este rigged this whole thing in our room to separate where she slept and our area. it worked out wonderfully!) anyways, we went to ruth's chris for our anniversary dinner and could hardly enjoy it cause peppy was a mess. they even sprinkled "happy anniversary" confetti on the table...and she tried to eat it! ahh! anyways, that was the day! still enjoyed being together as a family and being away!
on the bus...she has a spoon in her hand..which im sure she threw down 3 seconds after this was taken :) (and why am i smiling???)

oh yes, this was great! peppy had her first cupcake! she couldnt sign "more" fast enough! then there were lil birdies tryin to get the crumbs. she loved it!

we then went and isabelle rode a carousel...squealed and loved it! este played some arcade games while peppy and i got some photos taken in a 5 dollar photo booth thingy! so special!
what a fun day!

day 1

we arrived in seattle around 12:00pm so we had 1/2 a day to explore. peppy was tired and she slept on me on the bus to our hotel room (seen in the last post) ahhh! when it was time for us to get off, up and adam she was!

she had to check out washington before she slept!

5th anniversary trip

mr. valenzuela and i have officially been married for 5 years. i say "officially" b/c it seems like we have been attached at the hip for a lifetime...and i mean that in the best way possible! i was reminded this past week that when God looks at us, HE now sees one flesh. how cool is that? PRAISE GOD FOR MARRIAGE! I completely do not take it for granted that I have an amazing Godly husband who loves the LORD and loves me and peppy. i have been blessed and i attribute it to God for blessing me so!

with that said, my baby decided to take us away to seattle for a 5 day trip in celebration of our love! we just couldnt leave pep out on this one! i will have a few entries over the next couple of days b/c there are so many pics i want to share...
quick update on pepita:
*she is a crawling champ! she acts like she has been doin it since birth. i love it! i love it! i love it! i very much like the interaction stage and this is just even more interaction for me! today we were playin on the floor and i was chasing after her and she was cackling and then we would roll around giggling! oh yes, so fun!
*when she is going for something she is not allowed to, we say: "isabelle faith! no! you may not touch that!" and she stops, sits down, waves her finger in the "no" fashion, smiles...and most the time continues on...whether that be to what we said no to or not! how can i not laugh??? i so need training on that one!
*she does "all done" in sign language
*she does not like baby food anymore
*she puked for the first time 2 weeks ago. all three of us got the flu (we all thought it was food poisoning b/c we all threw up within minutes of each other. poor peppy was sleeping in the midst of all her...yeah, yuck! she sure is a trooper though!
*she loves to be bounced in every way possible. whether if im runnin around with her, on my lap, or on the exercise ball
*on the trip, we were on a bus and este was sitting behind us. when i would say, 'where's daddy?" she would look for him and find him every time! yeah, she loves her daddy!
*she has gotten to be more cuddly within the past few weeks. with me anyway! she will nestle her face in me, lay her head down on my shoulder, and she even slept on me on the plane for over an hour. also on the bus! i love it!
