Trial and Error!
I'm learning that there is a lot of trial and error when it comes to parenting! For a few weeks now, isabelle's sleep has been a bit interrupted...and trying to figure out what is going on is crazy! she did get sick this week but the interruptions started before that...so maybe a growth spurt....so we started some rice cereal this week....she is doing so well. the first time even went really well! two of her naps today went GREAT so here's to hoping for great sleep tonight! heidi took the monitor for the last two night so that we could get some rest...oh and rested i do feel!
since my last entry, isabelle has since taken her first dip in a pool, she has ate some cereal, and daddy has gotten her to laugh..continuously...oh wow, she melts my heart! the last two nights she has gone to bed laughing! last night, este was playin peekaboo with her and she would just squeal and belly laugh! well, tonight, este started to pray over her (i always hold her while he does this) and he said something to make me start laughing...really hard. well, im laughing so hard that im getting weak and i look at her and she is laughin as she is watchin her momma lose it...which made me laugh even more! so for the last two nights, i hesitantly put her down to bed and then get butterflies everytime i think of her throughout the night. we are gonna have so much fun! it seems like she just grows and changes over night. and we totally have to have her in her sleep sack for every nap b/c she rolls over and gets stuck...wow!
so enjoying my darling peppy!
daddy had such a great time with pep in the pool! they had a "moment" that lasted for like an hour. so precious!

HAPPY 5 MONTHS, MY DARLING PEPPY!
i cant believe it has been 5 months of living life with my daughter. aaahhhh, so in love! sometimes i still catch myself thinking, "i cant believe she's here with us!" she truly is a blessing from the Lord!
we have really been enjoying billy, heidi, and olivia being here. olivia turned 18 months yesterday and we spent the day at the beach. once again, it was wonderful! it's cute cause i think isabelle is feeling like a little sister.

sometimes in the car, olivia likes to hold belle's hand...so precious!
we have found the best "spot" at the beach
pep is definitely rolling over more and last night she was facing the exact opposite direction when we went and got her in the morning. she has moved halfway when she has slept in her pack n play but i didnt think it was possible in her crib b/c of the bumper...however, she has found a way! she, not being much of a cuddler, fell asleep in my arms at the beach. wish i could have paused that for a few hours!

GOOOOO BARCA (and chick-fil-a)
today, chick fila was offering free chicken sandwiches for anyone who comes in with their fav. team logo on them. sooo, este got out all his barcelona stuff and we all put it on (including billy who draped a flag on his back) peppy and olive also rose to the occasion! we basically got a free lunch and dinner :)
pep is a rollin machine! yesterday we were eating and she just kept rollin over....and the same has happened today. there's no turnin back now! so proud of my girl!

she did it, she rolled over!
GO BELLE, GO BELLE!
it was either friday or saturday and we were eating dinner and pep was on the floor on her blankie. i looked over and she was pushing and pushing and we all got to see her roll from back to belly by herself! yay!
she's goin through her 4 month growth spurt...which leaves momma a tired, tired woman! but i am so happy that she is healthy, praise the Lord!
we went to the beach again this weekend, it was wonderful! by time we got in the car, both girls passed out!

wow, it's been forever!
So our pep is 4 1/2 months old and she has accomplished so much since our last blog entry! lets see here, she flew on a plane for the first time a few weeks ago...from california to wv...an all day flight and she did AMAZING! i was so so scared but she did so well. nursing with a stranger right next to you is awkward but other than that she did wonderful. we were in wv for 10 days and she went straight to a 4 hour schedule...sleeping at least 12 hours a night. it's awesome cause i didnt even push her at all...she did it herself. so proud! belle got to meet most of my side of the family. i felt so proud to show her off.
on our way home, flights were delayed so we had to spend the night in charlotte, nc. no pack n play or nuttin...she slept great in the other bed...and she slept a few hours on the flight home. what a lil trooper we have!
when we returned, my brother and sister in law came the day after. this was the first time they met lil peppy! the next day their daughter, olivia and heidi's mom, connie, came. we werent sure how olivia would act around isabelle but she loved her and wanted to hold her. :) so cute. we love having the three of them stay here. isabelle has rolled over twice from her back to her belly (with a little help from her uncle billy) im not in a rush to have her rolling over :) well, i'll leave you with some pics!

during our layover in atlanta, after the most massive explosion ...new outfit, new everything! (pep has started to go DAYS between poops so when she does...wow!)
