Este took me on a tram up Mt. San Jacinto...we were both feeling a bit sick from the elevation. heeheee
This was one of those days that just made me fall in love all over again. He had me laughing to tears so many times on this day.
Sunday April 27th I ran my first 1/2 marathon in La Jolla-yay!
2:29:29 was my time...my goal was 2:30 :)

We were headed to bunco night-wearing our team colors:)
we're not competitive or anything!
I'm trying to make the "west side" sign with my hand...TRYING is the key word.

When I returned home from VA...Este surprised me with an AMAZING stay at a villa for two nights....i was very tired but soooo happy!

great time on your marathon! thats amazing. and youre right it is addicting. Love the new pictures - its fun to get a glimpse into your life in ca.... which we may be out to visit in august or september!!!!!

Your dad was showing off these pictures to some people at work. He thought you were kidding about wanting to run the marathon in 2hours and 30 minutes. He doesn't know that you have that same drive he does to push for a goal.
I'm always proud of you but am even more so with the accomplishments you achieve through your hard work.
