9 months of glorious bliss with an immobile child. today..that all changed. :) yay! so excited...but at the same time, realizing life has changed drastically~ poor olivia, ha! tonight olivia was playin on the floor with a blankie and isabelle realized she could go and play with her...they both were shocked. peppy could not stop smiling and laughing!

snow day!
before peppy came along, there were certain days that este and i would want to just stay in and hang out, doin nuttin. so we'd say, "lets have a snow day!" (obviously this is unheard of in our neck of the woods!) but today, we actually did have a snow day! we went up to big bear, spun in the ice, laughed with our girl, and was swallowed up by feet of snow! a very adventurous day it was, but such a rich family time. peppy loved being with both of us and we just had an incredible time!

why buy toys?
the girls had a blast in a cardboard box tonight (theo did too)
before i post the pictures, peppy went for her 9 month checkup yesterday. she is 19 1/2 lbs (65-70%) , 29 1/2 inches (95%) and her head is 45% (forget the measurement) she only grew an inch and a pound in three months. that's alright cause she had been growing like crazy the rest of her life:) she had her finger pricked and two shots and did wonderful. what a brave girl! i love her doctor, she takes so much time with us. it has been raining buckets here, and even hailed for a minute, and im lovin it! we experienced an earthquake one early morning last week. california is interesting! we hope to get up to the mountain with all the snow and go sledding soon. they have feet of snow! oh, peppy's first experience with snow, how fun!

and they got bored, so off they go!
billy put theo in the box with peppy and he jumped straight up in the air...this is mid jump and peppy takin cover!

more christmas!
grandpa and grandma (ray and maria) came to visit this weekend and we got to have christmas with them. it was great.
peppy got her first babydoll! she loved the baby's paci...however, she wont touch her own..haha! it was too cute!

kisses (sometimes, with a followed clap b/c she's proud of herself-sometimes we say," give momma or daddy kisses "and she skips the kiss and claps)
she also makes the kiss sound when someone blows her kisses (adorable)
and she is waving hi and bye and all the in between times too!

9 months and a day!
my baby turned 9 months yesterday and i just cant believe it. my, my, lil woman! she was totally lackadaisical for most the day. we went grocery shopping and she was so just lounging with her leg up and arm over the seat the whole time. we got home and she was the same way in her high chair. then we put on some music and she CAME ALIVE! *so in love*

SAWEET!
i had the sweetest day today. we had such a lovely time at church! isn't the family of God amazing? when we went to go get pep, they said, "nope, cant have her!" heehee. i love that she is loved! then we came home and ate (peppy loves her new highchair that was gotten b/c of her grandpa ray and grandma maria) and then she was off to bed. este and i fell asleep on the couch for about 2 hours. awww. cant remember the last time that happened on a sunday afternoon:) when she woke up we just played around. i had such a rich time with her today. it felt amazing for some reason. she has been quite cuddly with me today, too. gotta love that!
praise the LORD for good days. He has been so faithful to us!

disney...the happiest place on earth!
este, me, mom and dad, and isabelle went to disneyland for pep's first trip! having to change her outfit twice b/c of poopie blowouts (which hadn't happened in months!) reminded me that bringing a baby to disneyland is a much different experience than when you are baby-free! however, it was much fun in a different sort of way. also, the first morning that we woke up in the hotel, i went in to get isabelle and she was SITTING UP by herself. i thought, "am i seeing things?" that ornery girl...who knows what all she does while she's in her crib. now she's all over the place!

im taking a sewing class and one of the girls suggested that we make stockings. i was all over that one. i saw a picture of stockings that i loved in a pottery barn magazine and decided to give it a try. i was well pleased!
